A creative house for stories, art, objects, and the things that make life meaningful.
The Heart Stuff Co.® began with a simple question:
What makes a life worth paying attention to? What truly matters?
Heart Stuff is my ongoing exploration of that question.
It’s a place for stories, art, ideas, and everyday things that invite us to slow down enough to notice what is already here: faith, friendship, creativity, memory, beauty, ordinary routines, good books, shared meals, difficult seasons, small joys, and the people we love.
I don't think a meaningful life has to look a certain way. And I don't think we need to perfect, optimize, or romanticize every part of it.
I think we might simply need to pay better attention to it.
Heart Stuff is about the things that make a life meaningful and the little things that make it feel like yours.
Through Heart Stuff Society, our editorial publication, I write about faith, creativity, becoming, everyday life, and the things worth savoring. Through art and objects, The Heart Stuff Co. gives some of those ideas a tangible form.
And eventually, I hope to create physical spaces and experiences where people can gather, make things, read, eat, talk, learn, and simply be together. Different expressions, same heartbeat.
Authenticity
Be real. Be who you are.
attention
Pay attention to your life and to those around you.
connection
Life is meant to be shared. We're made for connection.
creativity
Make something. Follow curiosity.
These aren't rules for living a perfect life. They're the values I'm trying to practice and the questions I keep coming back to.
For the ones who want to live with heart
Heart Stuff Society is the editorial heart of The Heart Stuff Co. It's a place to notice what matters and inhabit life more fully—exploring faith, creativity, becoming, and the little things worth savoring. Some things here are essays. Some are lists. Some are poems, recommendations, photographs, questions, or little observations that haven't quite become anything else yet.
I don't have life figured out. I'm just paying attention to it.
And I'm not here to be the answer. I'm here to be part of the conversation.
The things we make are meant to be more than things.
Art can remind you of something.
A book can change the way you see.
A piece of stationery can give an idea somewhere to land.
A meal can bring people around a table.
An object can become part of a memory.
That's what I want Heart Stuff to make room for: a life that is actually lived, noticed, shared, and remembered.
Not a perfectly curated life.
A meaningful one.
I'm Cindy, the founder and creator behind The Heart Stuff Co.® I'm a writer and artist who likes books, old photographs, making things, asking questions, and noticing the little details that somehow become the big things.
I'm also still figuring out what it means to live with heart. That's important to me.
I don't want Heart Stuff to be a place where I pretend I've arrived and tell you how to live. I'd rather bring you along while I'm figuring it out, too.
A creative house for stories, art, objects, and the things
that make life meaningful.
